Blurb:
They are children of the gods. Half-immortal, yet never whole. Until they find the one they burn to possess for all eternity...
In a world that is dying, Tera Fitzpatrick leaves her sanctuary for one last mission to attempt to save the final forest on Earth. She knows it's a fool's run as she has gone up against mining magnate Darius Hadides before and lost.
Darius has his own reasons for obtaining the Torgon Forest, and allowing Tera to breach his company's security. His immortal father Hades, king of the Underworld, set events into motion that Darius has spent millennia trying to correct. Tera is the key.
Now that a prince of the Underworld is ready to claim a woman of the earth as his bondmate, the Earth's future will be decided.

I'm
so pleased to announce that Coming Together: For the Cure is now
available in print. It includes my short story, Bound to Love. Here's
what Cherokee at Coffee Time Romance had to say about the anthology:"For anyone who has been touched by a loved one with breast cancer or any illness, I would highly recommend Coming Together for the Cure. Alessia Brio and the other talented authors create some uplifting tales that make the reader feel good all over."
And what she had to say about "Bound to Love":
"Kelly Maher fashions a powerful read that captures the heart."

My Big News!!
I've sold to Ellora's Cave!!
I sent the contracts in last week for, not only my first EC release, but also my first novel to be published. End Balance is a light futuristic/romantic suspense. It holds a special place in my heart as I wrote the first draft as part of the 2004 NaNoWriMo. I damn near killed myself, but I did learn a lot about my writing process. More specific details, like when it'll be released, are yet to come. Stay tuned!
Phaze has reprinted a super-short of mine called "Good Night" and it's available for free! Go get it now and check out all of the other free Phaze Flares.
Today starts a two-weeker Book in a Week (BIAW), sponsored by one of my RWA chapters. Dirty secret of mine: I haven't written any fiction in about 6 months. Well, probably longer now that I really think on it. Eeep! I have many good reasons why I haven't written, but one of the bigger ones is that I burnt myself out last August when I wrote The Man from H.A.T.H.O.R. in something like a two weeks.
I've been doing that kind of thing waaaayyyy too much, and my production has significantly suffered. In a chat recently, I mentioned my acceptance that by nature, I'm a slow writer. I'm using this BIAW to jumpstart my writing again and to get ahead on my portion of a project the Deliciously Naughty Writers have cooked up. Normally for a BIAW, a writer will do her best to write as much as she can in the time period allowed. Not me. I'm retraining myself to my new process. My goal is to write 500 words a day on the DNW project. I'm not going to stop if I hit 500 mid-sentence, but I am going to cut myself off before I hit 550, because I'd otherwise just keep going and going and going and...well, you get the idea. If I do feel like writing more, I'll allow myself to switch over to one other project, once again writing no more than 550 words in a day on it. This is my way of ensuring quality stories for my readers on a regular basis.
Enjoy watching the meter inch up over the next two weeks. I'm going home to my parents for a long weekend this weekend, so I may not be adding to the total as I can't cart my desktop with me, and I seem to have misplaced my three, yes, three, jumpdrives. I'll see if I can sneak away with my Palm for a bit, but my family doesn't like it much when I pull out my electronic toys.
